My experience with Marc DuPéré and his staff has had a profound and lasting negative impact on my daily life. I had a necklift. Not only was the work visually worse than before surgery, in my opinion but worse...I was left debilitated in several ways. Following surgery, I was left with extreme ongoing nerve pain due to proven injury of the great auricular nerve, severe over tightening to the point of not being able to swallow properly. I lost much of my ability to turn my neck effectively which made driving, skiing, and just general living practically impossible. The platysma was pulled so tight that my hyoid bone had to shift to one side (the hyoid bone is a floating bone) and several other unresolved complications that severely limit my ability to function each day. This has NOT been temporary—I am still suffering almost 3 years later, and it continues to impact my quality of life in a serious and ongoing way. I am unable to function normally. The outcome of this procedure has been completely life-altering. To my absolute shock, the care stopped after only ONE post-operative visit( for which they made me wait several weeks for even though appointments were made available for others seeking $450 consultations. This was the regular visit he is obligated to give), despite the fact that I was still dealing with active and unresolved issues. I later called the clinic after receiving a termination letter, and my calls were completely ignored. I was completely abandoned by the same surgeon who did this to me. Being left without continued medical support in this situation is completely unacceptable. When I raised concerns, they were not taken seriously. During my ONE and final appointment, I was dismissed and unsupported at a time when proper follow-up care was clearly needed. I cry every single day thanks to the fact that the loss of my once happy life has been completely altered and how the constant pain and tightness affects me and my family. I was perfectly healthy before this surgery. Dupere told me he would do it "tight tight tight" In my opinion, he seemed to have no understanding of internal throat structures or the many sensory nerves in the neck when he said this. Based on my experience, I would not recommend him for neck or face surgery and based on the aftercare, I would not recommend him at all. For any surgery. His clinic is misnamed in my opinion. Larger margin of error with breasts and butts not faces and necks. He ruined my life. Anyone considering this clinic should be aware that, in my experience, serious complications were not met with ANY appropriate follow-up, communication, or accountability and left me trying to navigate the system alone only to find other plastic surgeons are not willing to clean up his mess. Since then, I have required evaluation and treatment from a peripheral nerve specialist due to the ongoing symptoms for which i had to leave the country for, sadly still with no resolution to the damage created even after 2 attempted corrective surgeries which were very costly. Also, if a clinic does not provide the last names of their nursing and support staff, be careful. You have the right to know the qualifications of those responsible for your healthcare especiallywhen the surgeon is too busy travelling for leisure to care for you. I am basically disabled and have been for almost 3 years. My life has been completely destroyed.

The review I had posted was somehow removed 5-6 years after posting so I’m editing any words that could’ve possibly got it removed to make sure everyone can see my story in hopes it avoids the same happening to another person. I booked a breast augmentation with Dr. Dupere for Dec 2019, paying just under $20,000 out of pocket to correct asymmetry. A few weeks post op everything had healed except for a small scab I’d say smaller than 1/2 a dime. Around this point I was advised to switch the polysporin they first suggested applying to bio oil. I followed the nurses instructions. The scab began to soften so I called the clinic to express my concern and was told I “had to give myself time to heal.” I called again a day or two following and let them know the scab fell off and left a superficial wound. By the time they brought me in the superficial wound was about the size of about a quarter. I was told I would need daily wound care for it to close. Dr. Dupere referred me to an outside clinic for daily wound care. He left me in their care for over 6 months. During these appointments they would clean the wound, apply different medications, measure inside. This ultimately cause the wound to open further and deeper as time passed so they would pack the wound. They said they were in communication with Dr. Dupere and following the orders given. Eventually the wound clinic was saying they could see the implant, this persisted for weeks. At some point the wound got infected and I was on antibiotic IV and had to wear a pad in my bra for multiple weeks. I had maybe one in person consultation with Dr. Dupéré during this period. Visage staff eventually informed me the implant had to be removed, by this point the wound was the size of the bottom of a pop can and the implant was completely exposed. Corrective surgery was scheduled for August 13, 2020. Dr. Dupéré cancelled that surgery leaving me with only one implant for over 6 months. This ultimately led to multiple corrective surgeries when I finally found another surgeon & could afford the payments. This cost me an additional $25,000, 3 major procedures, where I had to be put to sleep, several minor ones, and 6 years of my life. No refund was offered for his initial surgery. This experience has had a devastating impact on my physical health, mental well-being, and daily life. I’m not even able to produce milk for my baby now. I feel I experienced several failures with this clinic and would strongly advise taking your body elsewhere if you insist on surgery as I felt there was a severe lack of proper aftercare, support, and accountability when a complication arose.

Exceptional surgeon! Dr. Marc Du Péré is truly such a pleasure to consult with. From the very beginning, he made me feel completely comfortable and never once made me feel rushed. He takes his time, listens to what you want, answers your questions and has such an amazing, warm personality that immediately puts you at ease. But Jay and your anesthesiologist completely calmed my fears with their reassurance, professionalism, and kindness. Within minutes, I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. I also chose to stay overnight, and it was one of the best decisions I made. If you're considering it, I highly recommend it. The nursing staff was phenomenal. Every time I needed help, medication, or simply reassurance, they were there before I even had to ask. Their care made all the difference during that first night. Every follow-up appointment reminded me why I chose Dr. Dupéré. Every visit was filled with warmth, encouragement, smiles, and genuine concern for my healing. By the end, I honestly wanted to hug every member of the team because they had become so much more than a medical practice. Then there are my results. At 57 years old, I had spent years living with a stomach that protruded and hung over, affecting my confidence in ways that are difficult to explain. Today, I don't just see a flatter stomach. I see hope, confidence, happiness, and myself again. Dr. Dupéré didn't simply perform surgery—he gave me back a part of myself that I thought I'd lost forever. This isn't flattery. It's the truth. Too many people receive extraordinary care without ever telling those who changed their lives how much they meant. I never wanted to be one of those people. I had surgery with Dr Marc few month ago for buttock implant procedure done by him and his team just wanted to say thank you so very much and I'm in love with the results come along I would give you more than 5 stars if google let me🙏🏻 can't wait for the next surgery on the future with him. I can't say enough how thankful I am with him. He incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Everyone in the clinic was so kind , professional and supportive . I highly recommend Dr Marc and his team to anyone considering the procedure. From now on he will be my only surgeon I go to for any other surgery on my body in the future.

Wonderful experience across many visits over many years. The clinic has the most friendly and caring staff who genuinely care and take care of every detail. Every visit is like visiting family. Dr. DuPere is one of the kindest people who does such great work. Over multiple procedures, some larger and more intensive to more regular Botox, Dr. DuPere is the only one that I trust because of his skill and true care for his patients. Special shout out to Bruna, Elizabeth, Eszter and the whole staff for their kindness and always making each visit so smooth. And of course, Nurses Jay and Ray, who are always there to support and answer the many questions that come up. A super-star team.
